We have moved 7 times in the past 15 years and have worked with a number of realtors in many different parts of the country. We have to say that Sam stands out as one of the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Days before our first interaction, Sam called to spend some time just talking with us, getting to know us and find out what kind of property we were interested in instead of just parading us through neighborhoods. He not only found a house that would work for us, but also found an apartment for my mother-in-law, who had a very long list of “must haves”. That was in 2019. Since that time he’s helped us to sell a home, buy another property and will be listing another one for us, despite the pandemic! You don’t have to worry about anything when Sam is involved. He will be 2 steps ahead and think of things you wouldn’t. If you need an answer to a question he will have it or get it for you. If you need to know who can help you with a project, he’ll have a name for you. About Sam Linkenhoker
A West Virginia native and graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Forest Resource Management. Worked 34 years with USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service where last two positions were Assistant State Conservationist, Field Operations, and Regional Grazing Lands Coordinator. Sam moved to Blacksburg in 1986 and has lived in the New River Valley ever since. He and wife Ellen have three grown children and six grandchildren. Sam has operated a Christmas Tree Farm, built homes and developed subdivisions in Montgomery and Giles counties. Sam started his Real Estate career in 1996. Over those years he has utilized his experience to help both sellers and buyers make important decisions regarding their New River Valley real estate transactions. Sam specializes in single family homes,land and large farm sales in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Craig County, Giles County, Bland County, Floyd County and across southwest Virginia.Areas We Cover
